Trying to find a way to tie a new color scheme together and keep the kiddos involved. Trying some new decor ideas by making things personal. I think they have more charm than manufactored, mass produced things.
Pinterest is good for this. So many ideas in one place your brain will explode.
I got these new purple pillows on clearence at Target to go on my brown couch. I attempted to get the purple on the hand tree. We put the on wood I bought to make a shelf that my FIL cut and edged for me and of course we sealed with mod podge. They got a little wrinkled but we call that character.
This was being made for fun and had no real intention for going on the wall but whatever. I thought it was interesting. Here is the inspiration.
