On the first day of Crockery…

Huffington Post gave to me…. An alleged 52 Slow Cooker Recipes that I’ll never want to live without. So I decided to investigate this claim because to be truthful I have never had anything come out of a crock-pot that was inedible. For terrible cooks like myself, its the one way to not screw up … Continue reading

Tiny Fashionista

Tiny Fashionista

Or this post could be titled: Bored and it’s too hot and humid to go out before 7 p.m. So what happens when I am going through my craft closet and pull out my cardboard backdrop just to get it out of my way. “I wanna take pictures”- C “OK, let me get my camera” … Continue reading

Spring Flowers

Spring Flowers

A couple of weeks ago during Charleston Fashion Week my mother in law came to stay to help with the kids. Every time she is in town there is sure to be some yard work done in some way. This time we were talking about recycling our used and broken bed peices. My children’s old … Continue reading

On Christmas Day we said “Happy 2nd Birthday” to our beautiful but goofy little Chloe. We spent Christmas day with my “step-family” and then at by little brothers house with my sister, … Continue reading

Traveling for turkey day

We are currently on the road and have been on many roads and high ways during the past four days. Our travels have taken us through North Carolina into many Virginia cities and a Maryland destination. Where did you go to be with family and friends? Where is home to you?

Staying busy but not with travels.

I have named May “money saving May”. So with gas prices being the way they are and me being the way that I am, I have cut out most travel and restaurants. Obviously this excludes the occasional mini strawberry milk shake from Sonic. It seems that I read there is a kazoo factory in town … Continue reading

Pins accomplished.

Trying to find a way to tie a new color scheme together and keep the kiddos involved. Trying some new decor ideas by making things personal. I think they have more charm than manufactored, mass produced things. Pinterest is good for this. So many ideas in one place your brain will explode. I got these … Continue reading
